Unleashing Your Business Potential: The AI Coach’s Guide To Marketing And Business Growth With Alaric Ong
A few years ago, the question would have been, “What can AI do?” Today, it seems to be, “What can’t AI do?” In this episode of Fuller Wallet Media, we learn that coaching is certainly one of the things that AI can do. When Alaric Ong built his AI coaching platform, the purpose that he had in mind was to help entrepreneurs have a way of scaling their operations and growing their business without having to put in too much effort or time. That’s what he ended up doing and more! Stay tuned as he gives us a demo of how this thing actually works and how it can be a game changer for your business!

Unleashing Your Business Potential: The AI Coach’s Guide To Marketing And Business Growth With Alaric Ong
Welcome to the show. I‘m with our special guest, Alaric Ong. He is joining us from Malaysia. We are honored that you’re here with us. We’re going to talk about AI. Welcome, Alaric.
Thank you for having me on the show. I’m from Singapore. I came to Malaysia for an AI summit, and then I’ll be going back to Singapore.
It’s a nice little weekend trip, but you’re learning.
Thank you for having me on the show. Thank you for hosting this.
We’re honored. Tell us about what you do with Alaric.AI.
I built my AI called Alaric.AI. It’s the only AI coaching program for marketing, branding, and sales. How it works is people will fill up a form, and then my AI creates a customized blueprint for them to get from where they are to where they want to be. Let’s say they want to make $10,000 a month or $100 million. Let’s say they want to build an app to go to $100 million.
Whatever business they want to do, as long as I know their current situation, their desired situation, and the problems that they face preventing them from getting to their desired situation, my AI will be able to create a customized blueprint for them. There’s a step-by-step that they can follow to get to their desired result. My AI will even coach them, which means that they can ask questions to the AI. The AI will respond to them and coach them. It can be every week or every month. The AI will be able to give them one-to-one coaching to get them to their desired result. In a nutshell, that’s what it is.
How did you even come up with an AI coaching program?
This has been something that I’ve been wanting to do for a very long time already because I’ve been in the coaching space for years. I’ve got over 1,800 paying students. I teach Facebook marketing, branding, and sales. One of the main problems that I faced was in duplicating myself and being able to help more people without costing me too much of my time or my life. Sometimes it can cost you your health, your happiness, and a lot of things, but I always knew I wanted to serve more people. I always knew I wanted to have a very scalable solution that is able to help people get a lot of results but, at the same time, does not require that much time or effort on my part.
I’ve spent over $100,000 going to seminars. For example, Richard Dinan’s seminars, Robert Kiyosaki, Tony Robbins, T. Harv Eker, and all these events. I spent so much money on going to all these events. I’ve written 600-past pages of notes for all the seminars I’ve gone to and all the books I’ve read. I thought, “Wouldn’t it be cool if I could program all these notes and content into an artificial intelligence?”
This artificial intelligence is my artificial intelligence that’s going to be able to coach people. It’s an artificial intelligence of myself coaching them one-to-one. It’s going to be able to coach them 24/7. Even if they want coaching at 4:00 AM in the morning, it’s going to be able to provide that to them, respond within five seconds, and provide them with the answers that they need to achieve whatever results they want to achieve.
That is genius. Everyone always jokes, “I need more of me. I need to duplicate myself,” or whatever it might be because we all run out of time. When you start spreading yourself so thin, your life pays for it in so many different ways, whether it be your health or your mental health. That‘s awesome.
Would you like to see a demo of the AI?
Definitely.
Let me show you how the AI works. This AI is called Alaric.AI. You could do something like write a Facebook ad to sell properly. It’s going to be able to generate a Facebook ad selling property. Here’s an example of a Facebook ad to sell property that could be used, “Attention, homeowners. Are you looking to sell your property? Do you have a spare property you want to sell? Are you ready to purchase a new home?”
“Our team is here to help you make the best decision. We are a team of experienced and knowledgeable real estate agents who understand the market and know how to make great deals.” This copy is pretty good. A lot of people say, “What’s the difference between this and ChatGPT?” First of all, let me show you what this AI can do. It can create images. Let’s say, “Gold bar at a beach with a dog.” Let’s see what the AI can come up with.
It does images too.
It also has computer vision, which means it can read images that I said to the thing.
It has computer vision as well. What is computer vision?
For example, I could upload an image to the AI, and the AI will be able to tell me what the image is about. Let’s say, “iPhone.” Let’s see what it’s able to come up with. I’ve got no clue what it’s going to come up with because all this is artificial intelligence.
It’s risky that you’re sharing.
No worries. Let me upload images. Let’s say I upload a file. I could describe what the image is about, but if I don’t want to describe what the image is about, and I tell the AI to tell me what this is about, I will say, “Tell me what this image is about.” Let’s see what the AI says. This is one of the things that the AI can do. This image shows a group of people standing in front of a stage. This could suggest that the people are preparing for or performing on a stage or that perhaps they’re attending an event or performance.
Either way, the image is one of people coming together to support or enjoy an activity. It’s a reminder of the importance of social connection and community. No matter what the setting or situation is, it’s important to remember that we’re all connected and that there is beauty and value in connecting with others. Whenever you see people coming together, remember to appreciate the moment and the people around you. It’s something that this AI can do.
Another thing that this AI can do is write in Chinese. It speaks in many different languages. It can speak in Chinese and Spanish. You can save the chats. It speaks like a human. You don’t have to memorize any complicated prompts. That’s one of the things that I’ve done in the AI space. Another thing that I’ve done that is quite cool is a blueprint. I built a blueprint where the AI will create a custom blueprint for the person. How the blueprint works is it looks something like that.
Let’s say I told the AI, “I want to grow Alaric.AI to a $100 million business. Teach me how to elevate Alaric.AI to a $100 million business.” It’s able to create a blueprint step-by-step and move-by-move, showing me exactly how to scale. I can do this blueprint in whatever language I want. It tells me all the tasks. For example, in step one, analyze the marketing. Identify entry investors.
It gave me all the different investors I could partner with and then developed a targeted marketing campaign to reach leads. It was able to do everything step-by-step. This is something that even ChatGPT cannot do. Even if GPT could do this, they would need to copy and paste a lot of things. I’m sure this shattered the whole coaching industry and also the whole AI space because no one else is doing something like that.
I haven’t heard of it before. How can people make money with AI?
Let’s say they want to make $100 million. There’s this video of this guy who made $200 million by launching an NFT. He asked the AI to teach him exactly how to launch the product and do the whitepaper, tokenization, and everything. He was able to build a $200 million business. That’s how AI can help them make money. It can help people generate ads. Ads can help people make money. It can help people generate leads.
This AI can also act as a sales roleplay. For example, I can tell the AI, “I want you to roleplay the sales process with me.” I’ll act like I’m selling to the AI, and the AI will act like the customer. At the end of the whole thing, the AI will say, “At this point, you did this well. At this point, you didn’t do this well. This is how you could improve your pitch.” It’s coaching a person on marketing, branding, and sales.
That’s awesome.
Thank you.
It‘s so advanced.
Thank you.
We’re still looking at AI to write ads with ChatGPT and stuff. We use it on a daily basis. When I say we, it’s most of the United States. We use it to write ads or things such as that, not thinking of it on this level to develop a coaching program with it. That’s so advanced. You’ve done a lot. You started readingRich Dad Poor Dadwhen you were nine years old.
Since I was young, my dad would ask me to read books like Rich Dad Poor Dad or How You Can Get Richer Quicker! by MR Kopmeyer. I would spend a lot of time reading. I’ve read probably a few hundred books by now. Sometimes I could read a book as fast as one book in a day. I’ve read so many books, gone to so many seminars, and gotten so much coaching and mentorship. I believe that education is one of the biggest advantages people can have in life. I truly think so.
Education is one of the biggest advantages people can have in life. Click To TweetI don’t think enough people read a variety of books, no matter what it is. It’s good to read. If I may ask, what do you like to do in your freetime?
I like to play pool table billiards. I was a national youth pool player back in school. It’s a sport that I don’t play anymore, but I truly enjoy the game. I like reading books in my free time and spending time with my loved ones.
I’ll jump back to AI. I had to ask you about your free time, especially since you read so much. One of my hobbies is reading. I love reading. When you have a hobby of reading, there are not too many other things that people usually do.
What was your favorite book?
I like a lot of science fiction and history. One of the ones that I’ve read a couple of times was The Wolf’s Hour. It’s an older book. I can’t remember the name of the other one. It’s science fiction. That’s why I likeThe Wolf’s Hour. It combines World War I, World War II, and science fiction.
I love books that talk about history. I love a lot of documentaries about history, all the wars that happened, and all that. I love studying the tech side of things, for example, what’s possible. Elon Musk is a fan of reading as well. Back to your question, what’s the future of AI? AI is still at a very primitive stage. If you think that this is crazy, it’s not crazy yet. For example, most of the time, it can only do tasks inside the platform, which means you cannot send an email automatically through AI itself. We can’t send an email or create a PowerPoint yet. There are a lot of tools that are already built, but imagine if AI is integrated with all this.
Look at Tesla. Tesla created a robot that can catch an egg without the egg breaking. If you throw an egg, the robot will catch the egg without an egg breaking. We can do a lot of functions that even human beings cannot. Imagine if these robots are connected with AI. The possibilities will be endless because there will not be a need for a lot of jobs because a lot of jobs will be replaced by robots but that’s okay. A lot of people are worried that their jobs will get replaced by robots, but let me ask them this. Would they rather go to the mines, mine coal, and all that, or let a robot do it? Would they rather do their dishes or let a robot do it?
If people are against AI or technology, I ask them, “If you were to calculate something, would you rather use a calculator or your mental sums? Which one would you trust more?” I would trust the calculator more. We have to embrace technology and wherever it’s headed. There are a lot of ethical concerns and privacy concerns with deepfakes and all this stuff, but overall, AI will help us a lot in the world.
AI Coaching: We have to embrace technology. AI will help us a lot.I can understand why people would think it would be scary, but mainly because of the Terminator movies. It’s what always comes to mind for everyone, but it’s great that we have that. It can take us further, develop things, and take away some of the unsafe jobs and some of the things that you said. We may make an error in calculations or whichever way it can go.
Would you like to see another of my new projects I’m working on that’s very exciting as well in the AI space?
Definitely.
This is something that I don’t think anyone is doing yet.
Do we have the exclusive?
You have the exclusive because I’ve not launched this to the public. I’ve not sold this yet. I’m implementing this in my businesses. What I did was create a sales AI. This AI combines the business owners’ product knowledge with ChatGPT 3.5 or 4 technology and my sales methodology. I’ve been doing sales for a long time. I’ve done a lot of high-ticket sales, one-to-one calls, and seminars. I put my whole script into this AI so that this AI can sell for me automatically.
I can show you a demo if you want. You’re probably the first person who has seen this. This is an example. Let’s say I created an AI called Mark Executive Business Coach. I could talk to Mark and say, “I am from Singapore,” for example. He will talk to me, “It’s great to hear that. Are you running a business already?” I could go to my email address so that AI can track this.
The AI will follow my methodology. For example, I’ll say, “Run the update.” The AI follows my script to the T. This is not a general ChatGPT. This will follow my script to the T, asking me about what business I want to do, how is my current situation, and what problems I face. My AI will prescribe the solution, which is the done-for-your-business blueprint to the client.
The reason why this sales process works so well is that I believe that sales are not about convincing someone that your product is good. Sales are about diagnosing and prescribing. The best salespeople in the world are doctors. I program my AI to be like a doctor diagnosing their problem and then prescribing them the solution because by doing this, people know that we truly understand their problem and that our product can help them in terms of their solution.
A lot of people don’t realize that with sales.
It will sell for me. I could catch up with the whole sales cycle. You explain to me what’s my product about. This is what I programmed it to say. You will send them the exact link that I wanted to send them and go here, where they can check out something like that. The sales happen on autopilot. Imagine duplicating yourself and having 10,000 salespeople selling for you without any human beings who are not motivated and who need to take breaks. We have robots doing that.
Imagine duplicating yourself and having 10,000 salespeople selling for you without any human beings involved. That’s what AI can do. Click To TweetThis is going to be a new product that you’re creating.
I’m using it for my businesses. I don’t do this for other people yet, but if everyone starts using it, this will shatter the industry.
There is a lot of potential with that. That’s one of the other things I wanted to ask. Do you think Facebook marketing still works?
I still run my Facebook ads. I have a team that runs my Facebook ads. I used to spend $30,000 a month on Facebook ads. I’ll generate an ROI of $100,000 a month on the front end. That’s not counting any back-end sales. On the front end, I’m still getting three times the return on investment, which means if I put in $1, one week later, I can get $3 back out. Imagine if I put $100,000 back in. I get $300,000 back up.
We don’t have to start so high. Let’s say an average beginner wants to start running Facebook ads. They put $200 in. They get $600 out. $600 in, $2,400 out. $2,400 in, $7,000 out. It becomes a flywheel that they can keep scaling. I always believe that referrals and word-of-mouth marketing are good, but we cannot rely only on referrals. We need to depend on marketing, but we need to have a predictable or scalable way where every dollar we put in the advertising, we get $2, $3, or $5 back out. We can keep scaling this infinitely.
Facebook still has a lot of potential as well.
There’s a huge potential in Facebook. There are two billion people using Facebook. There are only seven billion people in the world.
That’s it. With your coaching, what do you focus on? Is it anything that they want advice on?
Technically, this AI could coach people on anything they wanted advice on, preferably for business, marketing, branding, and sales. It specializes in this, but technically, this AI could coach them on how to get six-pack abs or lose ten kilograms, “Design a workout plan for me.” It could do that. This AI could technically also help people in terms of relationships. For example, if people are struggling with any relationships, they can ask the AI for advice. Let’s say a boyfriend and girlfriend are arguing. They have no mediator. They have no one to say who’s right or who’s wrong after AI. Tell the situation to the AI, and the AI will say, “The woman is right. The wife is right.”
You program it to say that the woman is right.
It depends on the context. Think about the possibilities. You help people with health, wealth, and relationships. It can help people in all those areas, but I mainly focus on the business side because that’s where I built my brand and reputation. That’s also where I see the potential for it because people pay more for a business solution. Technically, they would pay a lot for relationship or health solutions also, depending on how severe the problem is. I feel that this can help them in many different ways.
AI Coaching: Think about the possibilities. You can help people in health, wealth, relationships, etc. It’s just focused on the business side for now because that’s where most of the profit potential is.It can be used everywhere. You just focus on business and marketing. That’s cool.
Thank you.
You have some other companies as well.
I’ve done five different businesses before. I used to have a healthy food delivery business. I built a sales team of 140 people in 10 months. I saw all kinds of things like cordyceps, made-to-measure shirts, and personal development causes. I ran a social media marketing agency helping business owners to run Facebook ads. I had an eCommerce business selling cosmetics. I do coaching. AI is the new thing I’m working on, which is still part of the same umbrella, but it’s the new venture I’m working on. I’m going all-in on this because I see the potential and I know that I have the skillset to be able to try it in this market. I’m excited about what the future holds.
It holds a lot for you. It should be an interesting ride. You’re destined to do many more great things because you started and took it all the way.
Thank you.
The Apollo Factor: Why some people can sell while others can’tFor our audiences, you can get more information about all of this from FullerWalletMedia.com/Alaric. Is there anything else you would like to leave our audiences with? We got a sample of a future product that you haven’t even marketed or developed yet. We got to see the AI coaching. That was awesome. What would you like to tell us?
If anyone wants to get my books for free, I’ve written three books. The first book I wrote when I was eighteen years old is called What Makes Something Right or Wrong. It’s a book about philosophy, not so much about business. It explains what makes something right or wrong. The second book is called How to Use Facebook to Promote Your Business. This will be very relevant for your audience. The third book is called The Apollo Factor: Why Some People Can Sell While Others Cannot. It’s whether they have the Apollo factor. I’ll give these three books to all your audience for free to thank you for having me on the show.
That’s great. We appreciate that. I know they will love it.
Thank you so much, Melanie. You’ve been an awesome interviewer.
You too. Thank you. Have a great day or a great night. We will get you back to talk soon.
It was nice talking to you.
Thank you.
